Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Prompt Helper ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of service

Prompt Helper provides an AI prompt enhancer and generator available as a web app and Chrome extension. The Service enhances user-provided prompts using AI and returns improved versions. The Service is provided "as is" and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time.

Accounts

You may use the Service as a guest or sign in with Google. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You must not share your account credentials.

Subscriptions and payments

Prompt Helper offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Free: 10 prompt enhancements per week, plus Memory and A/B variants, when signed in with Google. Without signing in you get 5 per week. No credit card required. Usage made before signing in is carried over to your account, so the weekly total remains 10.
Pro: Unlimited enhancements, full history.
Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. You retain Pro access until the end of your billing period. No refunds for partial periods.
Price changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers keep their price until renewal.
Usage limits: Weekly limits reset at the start of each calendar week. Limits are enforced on our servers and cannot be reset by clearing browser data. We may change these limits; where we do, we will update this page and the pricing page.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the Service's source code.
Use automated scripts or bots to abuse the free tier or overload our servers.
Resell or redistribute the Service without permission.
Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Intellectual property

The Service, including all software, design, and content, is owned by Prompt Helper and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the prompts you create. We do not claim ownership of your input or output.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated outputs will be accurate or suitable for your purposes. AI outputs should be reviewed before use.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prompt Helper shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
